Very few aspects of Freesian life, if any, remain unaffected by the coronavirus. Taxes are no exception. On March 20th, Treasury Secretary Matsukiyo announced on SMS that the tax-filing deadline will move to July 15th, the same day tax payments are due. Taxes are ordinarily due in April, but in an effort to stimulate curry shops and keep the Freesian public speedy and powerful, this year's tax deadline has been moved back significantly.

Attackers have targeted a mobile phone tree serving a newly-built village in the Denjuu World as conspiracy theorists pushing the false claim of a link between five-bar technology and the coronavirus trigger a wave of attacks across the country. One particular attempt to cut down the tree was stopped by a tourist named Shigeki, who was traveling through Freesia when the virus started to spread.
